This time of year always brings with it a new set of great CS:GO offers in the Steam Marketplace. In the last few days, there have been loads of deals put up, including a ton of skins! There are so many deals to look through that you just haven’t gotten round to them all yet. You are going to have to spend my Christmas break browsing the steam marketplace instead of wrapping presents and cooking turkey!
We thought now would be a good time for an overview of what’s been happening in skinport CS:GO’s a marketplace, as well as show you some highlights from this busy festive season. Here is an overview of the Steam Marketplace from this Christmas:
This year, the Steam community has been treated to some new items that are just a little bit different. These range from full sets of Santa hats and mustaches to a FLYING TURKEY. Although these can be used in-game, they are clearly not designed with normal gameplay in mind. There have also been quite a few gifts added this holiday season – some free, some paid for – which are designed to be opened on Christmas Day (or any other day you choose).
If you’re looking for that extra special present for a loved one, why not consider adding something to your Steam Wishlist? I have a few ideas myself, like this tradeit gg CS:GO Polished Heavy Duty Leather Satchel which is sure to last through all of the game’s future updates. Or maybe you wouldn’t mind buying someone on your list an item they can get straight away and then keep an eye on their account over the year as they use it.
On the practical side of things, there have been a few new skins released this Christmas, including the Adler version of the Colt M4A4 and special ‘Traditions’ skins for all nine weapons in the game. These are available at different price points depending on which gun you’ve purchased, but it’s definitely worth giving some of these a try!
We’ve also seen several deals for items that were previously given away for free or on sale for much less than usual. The popular AK-47 skin has been reduced to under $3, while you can get your hands on an M4A1-S with a unique skin at only $10. The MP7 is currently going for very little on the market – get it while you can!
Not everything’s a bargain, though, unfortunately. Currently, the Chroma 3 Case and Bowie Knife are both only available for a price of $1.49 above their normal value. This is due to several cases being returned as fraudulent by scammers who purchased them from third-party sellers and attempted to return them as if they had been opened in-game. Valve doesn’t tolerate any scamming, so it has increased the cost of these items to discourage any more selling, effectively making them unavailable unless you get lucky and find one on sale at this price point (in which case I’d recommend holding onto it).
